Bee & Hive Removal

A hive in your wall, soffit, or eaves? We remove it — and repair the damage.

A bee colony inside your home’s structure isn’t just a sting risk — the comb, honey, and wax draw other pests and can damage the building. Bugsy’s locates the hive, removes and treats it, and in most cases repairs the area we opened to reach it. One crew for the problem and the patch-up.

Why a hive in the structure has to go

Bees in a wall void or soffit rarely resolve on their own — and the longer they stay, the bigger the job.

Sting risk

An active colony near doors, windows, or a patio is a daily hazard — especially for kids, pets, and anyone with allergies.

Structural & pest damage

Abandoned comb, honey, and wax left in a wall attract rodents, roaches, and moths, and can stain and rot building materials.

It gets worse with time

Colonies grow. What starts as a small entry at a soffit becomes a larger hive that’s harder — and costlier — to reach and remove.

Straight talk: we don’t do live relocations
Bugsy’s removes and treats problem hives — we do not perform live bee removals or relocations. We take out the hive and, in most cases, repair the area we opened to get to it, so you’re left with the problem solved and the structure closed back up.

Bee & hive removal pricing

Priced by how the hive is reached — a hive at ground level is a very different job than one deep in a second-story soffit. All work carries a 90-day warranty.

Job Starting Price
Exposed hive, ground level (no cutting) from $379
Hive requiring cutting (shed/wall)* from $579
Exposed hive, second story (ladder) from $750
Removal from a soffit* from $1,250
Structural repair (e.g. soffit) from $500
Lift rental required from $1,450
Roofer required to access from $1,750

*Cutting and soffit removal prices do not include repairing the opening; repair is quoted separately (from $500). Final pricing depends on hive location, size, and access, and is confirmed at your free estimate.

How it works

1

Free estimate & inspection

We locate the hive, confirm how it has to be reached, and give you an upfront price before any work starts.

2

Access the hive

Depending on location, that may mean a ladder, opening a soffit or wall section, or bringing in a lift — whatever it takes to reach the colony.

3

Remove & treat

We remove and treat the hive and clear the comb so it stops drawing other pests.

4

Repair & warrant

In most cases we repair the area we opened, and your service is backed by a 90-day warranty.

90-day
warranty

Done right, closed up, and covered. Every bee & hive removal carries a 90-day warranty — and because we handle the repair too, you’re not left chasing a separate contractor to close the hole.
