The Bugsy’s Story: From Marine to Pest Control Expert
A Mission-Driven Beginning
My journey into pest control began in July 2017, following my service in the United States Marine Corps. Transitioning from military life, I quickly realized my passion for problem-solving and protecting homes, leading me to an apprenticeship in the pest control industry.
Learning, Observing, and Improving
During my apprenticeship, I identified gaps in the industry—lack of technician dedication due to poor compensation and outdated training methods in large corporations. I knew there was a better way to elevate pest management.
The Pursuit of Excellence
Determined to make a change, I took matters into my own hands, furthering my education at the University of Florida’s Pest Management University. Here, I gained new insights, refined my expertise, and developed a more effective and science-backed approach to pest control.
