My pet is on flea prevention — why do I still have fleas?

How long after treatment will I still see fleas?

You may see live fleas for up to 2 weeks after treatment — these are newly emerged adults from pupae that survived the initial treatment. This is normal and expected. The follow-up treatment handles this.
